Fall River Lake

Fall River Lake is a beautiful reservoir located in the Flint Hills region of southeast Kansas, USA. It was created in the 1940s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a flood control and water management project on Fall River, which runs through Greenwood and Elk counties.
The lake spans over 6,000 acres and has 173 miles of shoreline, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation such as fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and wildlife watching. Its clear waters are home to a variety of fish species including largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish.
The lake also boasts several campgrounds with hundreds of camping sites, some of which offer water and electric hookups. There are also picnic shelters, playgrounds, boat ramps, and marinas available for public use.
